.: 13-04-2005 :. | A whole bunch of new pictures and story bits, in this set of images, the 1st Dragoon Platoon moves out from the landing site and moves to the target area, but there are complications and reinforcements are called for. |

| The idea behind this is to basically write a comic strip type story but with less images and more text. I want to write a scifi story which will be accompanied by rendered illustrations instead of doing a fully animated video clip which would take way too long with the time I have availabe. |
.:The Story:.
| Part one of 'The Rescue' would be an appetiser/introduction to the world of the H.M.N. or Hegemony of Mankind Nations which is a whole fictional universe that I created to host various scifi short stories. The reader will be informed, piece-by-piece about this universe and the people there in as the story unfolds. This would be supplimented by the rendered images that I want to add. |
.:The Setting:.
| As usual, the human race is at war, but this time with an alien, unknown species it encountered during the Massive Expansion Era when the new comers mercilessly and without warning, massacred several HMN colony worlds in one fowl sweep. A lot of the theory and terminology for the HMN universe already exist, with ship, station, world and organizational details and descriptions that will be expanded on as time goes by, including blueprint/technical manuals for the technology and systems used. |
